When you think of an antioxidant most people think of Vitamin C or fruits like blueberries. Antioxidants play a role in our body but oddly enough these antioxidants are not universal. Not all antioxidants are the same. They each play a role and have their part. BUT there is one MASTER antioxidant that can work and play a role in all areas of the body. That is Glutathione. Glutathione is naturally produced in our bodies and is considered the bodies Master Antioxidant. It is produced in our cells and our levels of Glutathione will decrease in our bodies as we age. Glutathione is composed of 3 different amino acids: glutamine, glycine, and cystine.
The reduction of Glutathione in our bodies over time is due to several factors. They are, but not limited to the following; poor nutrition, environmental toxins, and stress.
There are several ways to increase your levels of Glutathione. They would include injections, or pills of Glutathione. Although these two ways will work for you, I do not recommend this as the best method to increase your levels of Glutathione.
