Cell death in the liver can increases when the antioxidant levels decrease in our bodies and the free radicals increase. This then can lead to Fatty Liver Disease in those that use alcohol and those who do not when the levels of antioxidants decrease. This would include a decrease in the bodies master antioxidant that is Glutathione.
So, the reverse has now started to be found that when a patient increases their level of Glutathione the antioxidant levels will decline and malondialdehyde will also decline (this is a marker of cell damage in the liver). This will allow the liver function better.
I have found that taking a daily supplement that will give your body the ingredients it needs to create Glutathione NATURALLY is the best alternative. I find products that contain RiboCeine work the best.
